As a part of the 2014 Commonwealth Games held at Glasgow, an “Inter-house Commonwealth Quiz” competition was held at Ramjas School, Pusa Road in the month of October. There were eight rounds, consisting of current affairs, spell bee, rapid fire etc. The main focus of the Quiz was “Commonwealth” where in students were tested on the history of the Commonwealth games and in the visual round certain athletes and stadiums were featured. It was a keenly contested event.
The event
witnessed an enthusiastic participation from various houses.
Speaking on
the occasion the Principal, Mrs Mohini Bindra, highlighted the importance of
being aware of the World we live in and the major events that happen round the
World.
In the end, the Principal declared the results- First prize won by Bharati House, second prize by Gargi House and third prize by Gautam House.
