Collaboration with Vietnam on Child Rights

Our school collaborated with a school in Vietnam on the issue of 'Child Rights'. Their school shared some of their students' arts related to Child rights.

 

Our school also participated in events conducted by ‘Nine Is Mine’, which is an organisation to promote Child Rights.

Many students and teachers went to support the Child Rights at ‘Raahgiri’ on 16/11/2014 (Sunday). The event was centered to organize and muster support for child Rights. The students went there with great enthusiasm to support such a noble cause early in the morning. The students did a great job as they marched and raised slogans; some of them also recited poems that brought out the feelings of a child who is deprived of his/her rights even in the 21st century.

It brings us immense pleasure to announce that our speakers were so inspiring in delivering their ideas and expressing their thoughts that even the organizers of the campaign requested us to urge other people present there to join the campaign and thus gather large masses for the upliftment of the status of children in the society and hence the Nation.

Students also felt very contented after such a fabulous experience where they worked for the society as it was something very distant from the day-to-day schedule.

The students also said that they are always ready to support such a noble cause whenever their assistance is required.
